REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management have rolled out a new leveraged exchange-traded fund that gives traders a way to amplify their exposure to Strive, a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company and asset manager. The T-REX 2X Long ASST Daily Target ETF, trading under the ticker ASSX, began trading Friday on Cboe. The fund aims to deliver 200% of Strive’s daily share-price performance, before fees and expenses. ASSX resets its leverage every trading day. That means returns over periods longer than a single session can differ substantially from twice the performance of Strive shares. Investors holding the fund for extended periods may see results that deviate from the headline 2x target due to compounding effects.
Unlike spot Bitcoin ETFs, ASSX does not hold Bitcoin or attempt to track its price. Instead, it provides leveraged exposure to Strive’s stock, making it a distinct instrument for those seeking indirect, amplified bets on a Bitcoin treasury firm. The launch adds another option for traders looking to express directional views on companies tied to Bitcoin without owning the cryptocurrency directly. It also underscores the growing appetite for leveraged products linked to digital-asset-related equities.
