StayTerra Expands Vacation Rental Portfolio With Acquisition of Gather Vacations

StayTerra, a vacation rental platform supported by Garnett Station Partners, has acquired Gather Vacations, a Hawaii-based operator of luxury vacation properties. The deal adds more than 500 high-end rentals to StayTerra’s portfolio. Gather Vacations oversees a diverse collection of luxury vacation homes across several key markets. Its properties span the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, the Big Island, Kauai, and Maui, as well as destinations in California and Washington. This acquisition significantly broadens StayTerra’s geographic reach and strengthens its position in the premium vacation rental sector. The move reflects ongoing consolidation in the vacation rental industry, where operators seek scale and operational efficiencies. StayTerra, with backing from Garnett Station Partners, gains a well-established presence in Hawaii, a top-tier market for luxury travel. The addition of Gather Vacations’ 500-plus properties is expected to enhance StayTerra’s offerings for travelers seeking upscale accommodations.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition highlights Garnett Station’s continued interest in the travel and hospitality space, particularly in asset-light management models. StayTerra’s expanded portfolio now includes a substantial footprint in some of the most sought-after leisure destinations on the West Coast and in Hawaii.
